Things to do in Los Angeles for July 4th

Rose Bowl 4th of July AmericaFest
Southern California’s largest fireworks displays in SoCal with music and food vendors.
When: July 4. Parking lot opens at 10:00 am. Food begins at 2:00 pm. Stadium opens at 6:30pm.
Opening ceremonies at 7:00 pm. Fireworks at 9:05 pm.

Palisades Americanism Parade
Old fashioned parade with entertainment and fireworks.
When: July 4th. Skydivers 1:50 pm. 2:00 parade. 6:30 pm entertainment. 9 pm fireworks.
Where: Parade on Sunset Blvd. in Pacific Palisades between via de la Paz and Drummond St., Entertainment and fireworks at Palisades Charter High School.

Four-block block party in the LA Civic Center. Rooftop fireworks display and pyrotechnics.

Westchester Parade
LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a parade with over 1,000 participants and thousands of spectators. Who can say no to marching bands and floats?

4th of July BBQ at the Aquarium of the Pacific
Enjoy the Aquarium at night and get a fish-eye view of the Queen Mary fireworks.
When: July 4. BBQ 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Aquarium open 9 am – 10 pm.

Queen Mary BBQ, Brews and Red, White & Blues

When: 9:15 registration to participate, 10 am parade, followed by competitions
