With drastic weather shifts being dealt across the nation, having your heating and air conditioning unit ready is vital. Here are a couple of tips on how to be ready:

Carbon Monoxide & Smoke alarm- Something that shouldn’t get overlooked is being preventative on smoke safety. There might be times that things like smoke alarms aren’t checked regularly, but there’s always stories of homes burning due to not having alarms.

Clean ducts It is recommended to have your home ducts cleaned once every five years, and that’s just the minimum. If you have any pets or are sensitive to allergies, you can do it much sooner.

HVAC Filters– ALWAYS be sure to keep up when to change your filter.
