Lost & Found: Cats

download.jpgFrom what I can remember, It was only a week or two that something amazing happened at the back of the office; animals in the warehouse.

It was like any other day, just a normal day. Nothing extraordinary. Everyone was just focused on working and getting their tasks finished. When a sudden but subtle MEOW was heard. Nothing came to the mind of the employees and it was just ignored, but after a few more MEOWs, it sparked the curiosity of everyone in the office. People got to talking and thought it was coming from underneath the floors, so we checked. We were wrong. We thought it was outside near the bushes. That also was wrong. The only place to look was the back office; the warehouse. VOILA!

In the back office, there was a kitten. A kitten that was barely the size of our palms. Barely able to walk but already brave enough to explore the huge open space. Knowing that this kitten wasn’t alone, everyone took off looking for the family. On the side of the building, there consisted of three more kittens (excluding the orange one we found). Knowing that these kittens are starving, we gave them some food and a little bit of attention and headed back to work.

Knowing it was going to be a cold night, Sima (our Senior Coordinator) came back with milk and blankets. There was nothing she could do other than keep them warm and have food for them when they are in need. She left the milk and wrapped the kittens in a blanket, hoping they use it as some sort of a cave away from the cold. Returning the next morning, the kittens were gone..

Nowhere in sight. Not a MEOW to be heard. We found out later that the neighbor knew the owner of the mother of the kittens. Safe to say, they are in a nice warm home where it’s safe.

Truthfully, It would’ve been so nice to have office cats. We had forgotten to take pictures of the kittens. So here are some pictures of cats we found on the web:
