Best Moments in Oscar History in GIfs


By now everyone knows that Ellen DeGeneres is going to host the 2014 Academy awards. This will be her second time hosting the aging awards show. She may be just the move to have younger viewers tune in, who interest in the show has been on a decline. When they brought in Seth Macfarlane last year to host, it created some buzz from what people called controversial songs and opening monologue.

In celebration of the recently announced host, we have come up with some of the top moments in Oscar history in the last few years in form of GIF.


1999: Roberto Benigni. Best Actor win for “Life is Beautiful.”


1998: Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Win for Best Original Screenplay for “Good Will Hunting”


2003: Adrien Brody. Adrien goes for the Halle Berry after winning for Best Actor in “The Pianist”


2013: Sandra Bullock. Making a perfect GIF worthy face while trying to open the envelope.


2001: Denzel Washington. Winning Best actor for “Training Day” for his second Oscar.


1998: Cuba Gooding, Jr. Winning best supporting Actor in “Jerry Maguire”
